I created these maps to add another dimension to GPSing; in my opinion, it would be worth all the effort to get them into your GPS. The following KML Google Earth waypoints are actually visited sites we talk about in Outer Banks: hunting for hurricane pertaining to several of the stops we made in the Norfolk, VA, and Kittyhawk, Rodanthe and Hatteras regions of North Carolina. The Google Earth KML file is down-loadable. The KML file can then be viewed in Google Earth (check the method for viewing these files in the Google Earth FAQ; it is very easy to do). There are certain free or very low cost software available to convert this KML file into any GPS flavor.
